Physical Risk Assessment in the Workplace
Are your workers experiencing aches and pains or injuries due to their daily work tasks?
Even in well-managed workplaces, everyday tasks can place strain on the body over time. Left unaddressed, this can lead to reduced productivity, increased injury risk, and time away from work.
Identify risks, reduce strain, and support safer ways of working
AIM’s Physical Risk Assessment (also known as a task analysis) takes a closer look at how work is actually being done – helping identify where risks exist and what can be done to reduce them.
What Is a Physical Risk Assessment?
This is a detailed, workplace-based assessment that focuses on the physical demands of tasks and how they impact musculoskeletal (MSK) health.
Our experienced Clinician will observe how the employee(s) perform their work in real time, considering movement patterns, work habits, and how people interact with their environment, equipment, and tasks.
What’s Included
✔ Observation of tasks in real work conditions
✔ Identification of awkward postures, repetitive movements, and forceful tasks
✔ Assessment of work practices, habits, and techniques
✔ Evaluation of workspace layout, equipment, and job design
